The airport is 25 miles away and approximately a 50 taxi fee.Accommodations are two-story villas featuring private, furnished lanai, two bedrooms and two baths, king bed in master and either one queen or two twins in guest room and queen sized sleeper. accom very clean and the staff was great. I would stay there again.very quiet and relaxing. the big island, is well, the big island so expect to drive abit from here.Not far though as we found many excellent beaches/resorts/shopping somewhat close.
Excellent hotel. A bit out of the way, so you'll need a rental car to get around. The rooms are excellent, people are friendly, and the service is great. Very clean. If you want quiet, this is the place.
The Greens provide large rooms for the price. However, they're a little removed from activities on the island. Then again, the Big Island requires a bit a driving to explore. If you plan on driving, the location isn't bad. If you plan on staying put, there isn't much to do nearby.
