We just returned from a week in Maui and Maui Hill Resort was better than I thought it would be. The entire complex was very beautiful, and quiet. We were a short walk from the beach and all the action in town, yet it was so peaceful. We also had an amazing view of the ocean from our room. We would definately return here as well as recommend this place to our friends.

We absolutely LOVED Maui Hill! We had a garden view, which was very tropical, and could see the ocean through the trees. Its peaceful and quiet up on the hill, unlike the main drag. We had maid service every day, a HUGE 2 bedroom, HUGE lanai (2 of them actually), A/C in every room (not common for all condos in Maui), and the beds were so comfy that I wasnt longing for my bed at home. Location is actually great! You have easy access to both Wailea and Kihei. I cant say enough about this resort...I will be back again and again! My recommendations: Eat lunch at Five Palms across the street (the view is breathtaking!), Use Maui Hill Activity planner for luau, snorkling, etc, tickets (big discounts), rent your snorkel equipment from Snorkel Bobs (they were soooo nice), snorkel at Ulua Beach, and if your a reasonable swimmer try Wailea Beach for their great turtle population (we saw so many!). If you rent a jeep dont leave anything in there. We had several things stolen from beach parking lots. ALOHA and enjoy your trip!

We wanted a nice place to stay, but didn't want to spend a fortune. This place fit the bill. Clean, quiet and spacious. The one bedroom unit was great & we especially liked opening the glass doors on the lanai to let in the breeze. If you like to walk out the door & be on the beach, this isn't the place for you. But, a 5 minute drive (or less) can put you on a variety of different beaches. No restaurant on premises, but many are a very short drive up the street. If you want a good meal at a moderately expensive place, check out the Five Palms Beach Grill across the street in the Mana Kai Resort. We would go back again tomorrow!

This hotel was definatley a suprise, especially for the price. The room was very spacious, with many amenities. It had a nice kitchen, and family room. The balcony was nice and big, although our room was suppose to be an ocean view room. You could barely see the ocean due to the other complex blocking most of the view. Other than that everything was great.

Pictures did not do MAUI hill justice! BEAUTIFUL RESORT! FANTASTIC SERVICE! Can't wait to come back!

 by  anonymous  on  2007-09-06

The room was huge. 2 bed/2bath was better than we expected. We had 3 adults/3 children and you would never have known it. The lanai is the width of the condo, which is about 30 feet wide. the living room is huge. The only down fall is their is no lounge or store, so you have to travel off site. The beach is not within walking distance if you have 3 kids like me. I did see many people walking the walk down the hill, but no one had 3 little kids like me. We love the beaches at Wailia, much better than the Kamole I, II, III. If you have any questions I am still here, so email me.
