I spent a week here recently, early May. I was traveling with my young two year old son. 1. We were upgraded to a huge suite. I love my Amex ca...
Stayed here for the experience -charm of the pink historic gardens and inn. Have to admit, rooms need upgrading. Pool & beach hours very poor. Need more bar/casual restraurant options at pool. Did not see any activities or entertainment (only in Surf Club). Staff nice. Rates don't match what you get. Sorry, love the old Waikiki charm but overlook the snobbism and fix the Grand Pink!
The Royal Hawaiian is a beautiful, older but aging well hotel with gracious, welcoming staff. Our room was spacious with handsome wallpaper and a sumptuous bed. Walk out hotel back doors to Waiikii beach. First class hotel. Would absolutely return there in future.
Disappointed! We paid top dollar (Christmas/New Year) Took our family and booked two rooms. Front Desk slow, room smelled and looked out at hotel nursery. Bathtub was straight 1960's. Could not get a beach chair even at 6:00 A.M. Pool closed too early. Very disappointing for cost. On leaving the hotel someone had charged drinks/lunch numerous days to our room. Wanted it cleared before we left and front desk said 5 minutes, 45 minutes I called down and anwser was it would take a couple of days to resolve. Rude to say the least.
My Daughter and I stayed here during the Pearl Harbor evnets last Dec. 7th. We loved the hotel and the staff were so kind and friendly. We certainly will be back soon.
Stayed here 2 nights and wished we had stayed at the Sheraton Moana Surfrider OR Sheraton Princess instead. The customer service is marginal at best and we were placed in a ""garden view"" room which was actually a view of the hotel nursery/plant storage. The chaise lounges on the beach are great but they kick you off at 5-6pm, whether you're ready to leave or not. This is rude for the price they charge. And beware...this place is VERY PINK!
This hotel was a dump - we stayed in the older tower which is touted to have Old World charm. Yes well the charm stops at the door! Past the beautiful hardcarved doors to your room you will find a nasty, dusty room with old tattered furniture, and gross bathtubs to go with it! This place was disgusting!
Comfortable hotel for hard-working business travelers and leisure guests looking to relax.
Each room features a large desk and Sweet Sleeper bed with a custom plush-top mattress, fleece blanket, duvet and five fluffy pillo
Very Average Experience
