Made reservations for a overnight stay for myself and an out of town guest. The hotel in general was filthly. The carpet all the way up to our rooms was soak and wet including the elevator. They did not have the room that was reserved available. . I presented them with my confirmation from the internet with the accomodations expected and they had no explaination as to how the mix up occurred. There was one poor desk clerk with four parties waiting to check in. She was doing all she could for me and kept calling someone for assistance. They kept telling her they would call her back.. Where the helll was the management??? That person should have gotten out there to help her instead of playing phone tag. No onsite manager????They did give me a room at a discounted rate but at 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday night what choice did I have??????Had I known that there were nicer hotels just a few blocks north for the same rate, I would have left. A disgrace to the Best Western name.
