"Tim" at the front desk (nights, I think) is wunderbar. A very kind, courteous, considerate man. We had a beautiful view in an ideal location.

Great location, nice room
Best thing about the hotel is its location. You're a 90 second walk from Michigan Avenue. The parking is not bad for a downtown Chicago hotel. ...

I hope all downtown Chicago hotels aren't like this !!!!!!!!
I'll tell you the good stuff first. I loved the location just a couple blocks from Michigan Ave. Also, within a short walk from the hotel entra...
This room stunk from the second we walked in. The bathroom smelled water damage or mold. We complained, and they said they would have someone look at it. The problem was NOT taken care of. There was also trash left over in the closet from a previous person. The air conditioning took FOREVER to cool down the room too. It wasn't even on when we got there, so we started sweating immediately.
It is true that the rooms are small but are quite clean and comfortable. We had a great view overlooking the Chicago River. We booked great affordable hotel rates without the sacrifice of quality! Will definitely stay here again.
This hotel seems to have air conditioning problems. It happened to be very warm outside yet the air condition wasn't working. When I called the desk they told me the "chiller wasn't working." Huh? I asked when this would be rectified but didn't get a straight answer. Night two and three where the same, except it cooled off outside on night three. To make matters worse, the windows were a disaster. They had to be opened by the maintenance staff and needed books under them to stay open! Unbelievable. The staff was generally courteous but had no solutions. This is not typical of Club Quarters- I?ve stayed at many locations and had very good expereience.
My fiance and I stayed here for a night after driving 11 hours from Maryland in one day. The room was small, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked for directions and someplace to get Chicago style pizza. Free wireless internet, bottle water, and a great location along the Magnificent Mile and easily accessible to the "L" train and many of Chicago's major attractions. The only downsides I could see was that they didn't have their own parking (there is a garage nearby for 20/day or valet for 35ish) and no continental breakfast. Other than that, it completely met our needs and far surpassed our expectations. I would stay here again.
The location was great. Just steps away from Michican Ave. The rooms were alright but the view was not that good unless you had a river room view. All in all a good hotel.
Priceline shoppers who need more than a dormitory sized room, beware! This is considered a three star hotel in the Magnificent Mile area. The location is great. However, the standard rooms are shockingly tiny. We were on a family trip and needed a place to unwind after museums, shows, etc. We had two rooms for five people. I was crammed into a room with my two daughters that barely held us and our luggage. When they rolled in the cot, you literally had to walk across the top of it to get to the bathroom. I do not consider this three star luxury. By the time we upgraded to suites, which were a far more acceptable square footage, I was paying nearly as much as I would have for a two bedroom suite at the Omni for the same timeframe. If all you need is a place to rest your head, then go for it. Club Quarters is clean and the staff is helpful. If you have your family with you, forget it. Don't take the risk of getting Club Quarters on Priceline!!
