Good hotel, excellent location and staff.
LOCATION CONVENIENT (BUT CONGESTED ON FRI LATE AFT, EARLY EVENING). LOUNGE VERY LOUD & BUSY FRIDAY NIGHT, HARD TO GET SERVICE. CHECK IN FINE & PLEASANT FRONT DESK STAFF. HAD TO CALL IN FOR EXIT INFO, AND DIRECTIONS BY FRONT DESK CLERK TO A TEE.. ROOM VERY PLEASANT, SUPER CLEAN, EXCEPT TV NOT IN CONVENIENT LOCATION TO WATCH FM SLEEPING/BED SPACE. PARKING NOT THE CHEAPEST/CONVENIENT, BUT OVERALL EXPERIENCE,GREAT BANG 4 THE BUCK. WOULD RETURN & RECOMMEND TO ASSOCIATES.
The location is great (only 1 1/2 blockss from Quincy L station). The staff was VERY courteous. There is a filtered water machine on each floor so no need to buy bottles of Dasani or Aquafina. High speed internet is included. What more do you need?
Didn't expect much given some of the reviews i had read, and also the great price had me concerned. Then, there was the email alert about renovations going on. Let me tell you, this place was excellent!!!!! Clean room, comfortable bed, the kitchenette, the nice shower.........granted, i was in/out most of the time, but i have only good things to say.great location too.....two blocks from the blue line, 4 blocks to the loop.....suggest you take advantage of the trains.the cabbies tend to take you on a tour........although you never have to look hard for a cab in chicago.........Starbucks in the lobby, 7-11 across the street.......will stay again for sure!!!!!!!!
I booked a "one bedroom suite" for three people. When I got there, I found the "suite" to be smaller than a normal size Motel 8 room... What they feel made it a suite were two little sections of wall that jutted out next to the bed area, which "separated" the bed area from the sleeping area. They also gave me a room with only one bed for three people. I tried to complain both directly and through the travel agency, and was told that this was the largest room they had, and wouldn't refund my money because I'd booked a suite and they'd given me a suite. It was only after my friends arrived and were obviously very upset that they finally admitted that they DID actually have a bigger room - one that even had a sofa bed in it. After we were moved to the larger room (still VERY small for a suite), things were fine. I would suggest, though, that if you must stay at Club Quaters in Chicago, go to the one on Wacker - it was much nicer.
Aw man! I had so much fun during my stay here. The staff was friendly and prompt. My room was cleaned everyday! The food at the Elephant & Castle was sooo good. The front desk and valet guys were sooo cute and sweet to me! The room and bathroom were not so big for two people but just perfect for one. The only thing I would like changed is their not having a breakfast room. They only had a coffee and tea bar with a variety of cookies. I guess one cannot expect this from a hotel for the travelling businessman(woman). I stayed there while the hotel was under construction but you wouldn't know because the workers begin working after 8am every weekday morning and I was long out of bed by then. Can't sleep in when you're in Chicago on vacay! Gotta see the sites! I absolutely love Chicago! I absolutely loved this hotel! If you are looking for somewhere to crash while in Chicago, please keep this hotel in mind. I would most definitely stay here again when I have the chance.
Downtown convenience is the defining factor of this modest Loop hotel.
In ShortThe Adams-Clark location puts this boutique hotel right in the thick of the Loop--El tracks included. It's peaceful inside though,
Very good value and great location
