Quite Impressed

I stayed at the Days Inn Lincoln Park and found the trip incredibly pleasant. The bed was high-quality and comfortable, with soft sheets, and ample comfortable pillows. A lot of hotel sheets make me itchy, but not these! They also provide free wireless in the rooms and even had computers available for use in the lobby. The staff was nice and helpful and they gave me a toothbrush and deodorant at the front desk when I realized I forgot mine. The continental breakfast was okay and included fresh-squeezed juices. Everything was very nice and I had no problems!
Surprisingly pleasant stay at this Days Inn. Terrific breakfast - very complete + a nice dining area with many tables. Room small but very clean; comfortable bed; good TV. Overall, much more/better than expected. Only downside is that it's far from downtown area where my meeting took place. Quickly learned to take the CTA Brown Line; a great bargain for 2 as opposed to a cab. It's a hefty 3.5 block walk from hotel to the train, but arrived at Sears Tower area in total of 20 minutes at morning rush.
The hotel was very nice and the staff was really helpful especially with directions for getting around in Chicago. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was the noise from the streets. It was really loud from the cars and buses until pretty late. We were on the 2nd floor with a busy street right outside. Earplugs would have been a big help or maybe an upper level room. Otherwise our stay was excellent.
What a positive surprise ! I've always stayed right downtown on Michigan Ave. This Days Inn has been totally upgraded. The location is superb for every type of entertainment. The included breakfast was wonderful; the breakfast room and lobby charming. The room itself was modest size and immaculate... as was the entire hotel. The lobby decor was charming. The rate they gave me was unheard of for the ammenities. The hotel has ideal transportation routes. You can walk to Lincoln Park. You will never regret staying here.
This hotel was more than I expected for the price. The room was a good size and was quiet. The bathroom was fairly large and gleamed. Was close enough to walk to Wrigley Field - lots of restaurants and bars along the way. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, from valet to front desk and bellman. Looking forward to staying here my next trip to Chicago.
This hotel is a nice little, friendly place to stay - a great value in a very expensive market. Fun location - lots of restaurants, theatre, and foot traffic at night - so relatively safe to wander after dark. Room was small, but comfy. Hotel has an old world, European feel. Valey parking very accommodating. Make reservation well ahead - I couldn't get in when I tried to stay a second time.
