Our family were in town for a few days to visit my sister & go to the zoo. The Hotel was beautifully decorated inside & out. Was located in a cluster of other new looking places right next to a Sams club. Fast food across street, nicer ones 1 exit west and easy to reach. We have stayed at the other before but like this one best because it is more quiet and looks like a nicer area. I am a stickler on having a clean bathroom and it passed the inspection wonderfully. My family visited me and our children played in the pool without hassle from front desk. Hot tub not exactly hot but was large and clean. The is nice patio just outside of pool area for smokers (we are not but it looked nice). Exercise room was excellent. Front dest was very helpful to give extra blanket & sheet for 6yr olds blow up mattress. Movies are available to rent if you are willing to pay the price for the convenience (games too). Wi-fi users will be quite happy as well. Weekend breakfast was average fare but monday we found home cooked waffles, eggs, gravy, sausage and biscuits with the other things!!! My daughter & I played board games in lobby and nobody seemed to mind, offering me tea or coffee. Helpful hint: if possible stay on the first floor. there are only 4 rooms on this floor and it was so quiet, we never knew we were in a hotel at night (no doors slamming at 2am). Over all, we were very very happy and plan on spreading the word so get there before my friends do ha ha. ***If you do not like extra firm mattress this might be a problem***
It was a new great place to stay during our family vacation and we have a warming feelings overall...The joys we get is much more than we paid. It has many stores nearby and a easy traffic to go on the highway in a convenient location,too. We was glad to stay in.
My family and I enjoyed our stay with Wingate Inns. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we needed directions to an attraction we were interested in the clerk printed them from the web for us. The shower heads are great and the indoor pool was a plus. The continental breakfast was larger than many other hotels I have been too and had hot selections too. Overall the experience was great and I would stay there again.
It was very comfortable. It was pretty new I believe but everything was very clean, very spacious and the staff was so friendly. I will stay again.
It was very good stay at the Wingate Inn at Louisville. The staff was very professional and kind. I'll come back to stay again next visit.
