Everything about the Loews was great. We arrive in New Orleans around 11am so that we could take our son to the Aquarium. The check-in time was not until 4pm but we went to the hotel 1st so that we could have them store our luggage and park our vehicle (no need to pay for parking at the Aquarium if we were already paying for parking at the hotel), to our surprise we were informed that our room was ready and we could check-in early. The room was amazing! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location too. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance without the noise of the French Quarter. I would love to stay at the Loews again.

I question who has rated Loews New Orleans as a five-star hotel. The hotel itself is in a great location and the rooms are spacious and beautiful. The hotel is very pet friendly, as I took my nine-month old pomeranian. The doormen and conceirge were quite helpful as well. However, the front desk staff service is horrible. We were told upon reservation and arrival that something special would be done for our birthday girl on her birthday. We went down to the front next three times during that day to remind them and we were promised something would be delivered to the room. Nothing ever happened on her special day. I also found a disgusting flip flop beside our bed during our stay as well as a ROACH in the lobby bathroom. I alerted the front desk staff immediately and she simply replied she would call someone soon to take care of that. NO APOLOGY! We also had no robes in our room during the entire stay. We also made reservations at the downstairs five-star restaurant on the evening of her birthday. This experience was a DISASTER! The first time our server, Bruce, came to our table, he never greeted us but simply stated "What do you want to drink?" The food was okay but doesn't compare to any other five-star restaurant in New Orleans. The service was HORRIBLE! We almost walked out of the restaurant after he ignored our table for atleast an hour. I thought this was a five-star restaurant and hotel.........

The hotel and room were beautiful. I had gone online and become a Loews member which gave us free parking and a welcome gift. There was no extra fee for our labrador. For us it had a mardi gras doll and some NO regional food. We had booked some type of "pet special". It came with Loews dog food and water bowl, a Loews dog mat, and a dog bed. The street staff and everyone was very friendly to us with the dog-which was a labrador. There was an area next to the hotel to walk the dog. (We have stayed at another pet friendly NO hotel where grass was 3 blocks away. hmmm) The only problem was we had to call down and ASK for our welcoming basket. We had to call down and ASK for our pooch stuff. The front desk person was clueless and said she had never heard of them offering dog beds. I hung up-irritated. But 30 minutes later, staff arrived with everything we had asked for-welcoming basked, pooch bowls and brand new dog bed for our dog to sleep on. Other than the front desk snafu-everything was gorgeous and we plan to stay there again.

I stay at the lowes and it was wonder, much better than 2 years ago. I real enjoyed the menu ( shrimp and grits). I will stay there everytime I come to New Orleans.

Beautiful Hotel. Reasonably priced (during summer). Rooms were decent and very comfortable.(Great views!) Bathroom small compared to some but elegant and big enough. Cafe Adelaide was top-notch. (Excellent food and staff). Concierge at the Loews was GREAT! (Daisy, gladly took care of all needs - flowers, childcare, etc.)

Everything you expect from a four + star hotel. We arrived around 11 am expecting to have to leave bags and come back to check in at 3. Instead, we got our room immediately. Rooms were very comfortable with a high quality be and good linens (guess 240 threadcount). Room service was prompt and food was great. Robes in the closet and stand alone glass shower was nice. Only improvement would be larger tub with water jets.
