One night Anniversary getaway within a few hours from home! Beautiful, interesting place fiull of local history. We couldn't stop admiring the design & were awed at the story behind the building of The Porches. Everything was fun to look at including the old paint-by-number paintings and the fifties era books displayed everywhere. The front desk clerk directed us to an awesome Bistro within a few blocks for dinner. Relaxed on the rocking chairs on the front porch with night caps from the charming little bar and in the morning with coffee. The bathroom was beautiful and comfortable and the bed was cozy. We went there hoping to be able to relax and we DID! In our opinion: 5 stars
We just came back from a one night stay at the Porches. The room (2 queen beds) was great, bathroom almost the size of the room as well. The office staff was very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.
