Wow, what a view. We were on the 5th floor facing with New England Aquarium and the Boston Harbor. The rooms were very nice and clean and the beds were the "famous" Marriot beds - down comforters, loads of pillows. The staff were very plesant and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of Fanuiel hall, Quincy Market and the Freedom Trail. The Aquarium is across the street. The only thing not up to par was that the jacuzzi and pool were closed for maintenance.

The number one thing about this hotel is location. The hotel is right on the water and has breathtaking views. It is close to the Freedom Trail, the Aquarium, Fanuil Hall and Quincy Market, and the North End. Must go eat at Legal Seafood across the street. The hotel was quite comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. If you fly in, it is one of the first train stops. Very confinent, especially when you're hauling a ton of luggage! This was my first visit to Boston and can't wait to come back!

A very unsatisfactory experience! Beds way too soft(back ach in the morning), bathrooms way too small. Towels stained and frayed, all vending machines were out of order and staff was unconcerned. We were not wearing top dollar fashion nor were we driving a top dollar car and the looks said it all. Stay elsewhere!

 by  anonymous  on  2007-06-02

Parking 42/day, microscopic bathrooms, overly fluffy bedding sure to give you a bad nights sleep and a sore neck and back in the morning. Stained and frayed towels. Not a single working vending machine, no one cared. A very pretencious experience. I was made to feel I was not up to their standards. If you don't drive a Benz and wear the latest style, stay elsewhere. Not what I would expect for */night.

The rooms are nothing special, but perfect for what's needed. The area is wonderful and you can walk to everything popular. The staff was attentive and polite, and the hotel was clean. The pool is really nice, and again, it's clean. Great hotel for families! We love the Marriott chain and try to choose them above all others no matter where we go.The decor here is a bit 1980's when you come into the lobby, but really, it doesn't affect the quality of the hotel.

We stayed in Feb. very cold, valets worked hard, bellhops took our bags, all staff was great & made us feel important. Standard 2 full bed room was a bit small. Room had a safe for valuables. Hotel is right across the street from Legal Seafood restaurant & the aquarium, short walking distance away is Faneuil Hall & bus tours. Near the water also. Very good breakfast buffet with omelet station. Business center is in its own room. Hotel has an elevator, escalator, restaurant, gift shop, etc. & Starbucks too. Great hotel, I?d stay there again in a heartbeat!
