My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a mini-getaway before driving up the coast to Maine for a family reunion. We chose this hotel based on the location and the level of service that the Hilton could provide. We signed on for the "Romace Package" which included all you can eat breakfast buffet (which was our main reason for the package), and a bottle of champagne every evening. It was wonderful!!! The staff were very polite and attentive when needed. The hotel is centrally located to all of the main attractions. The start of the Freedom Trail is a 1/2 mile walk away from the hotel. The Aquarium is 1 block away. Great bars (the Black Rose- which is the best Irish Bar in town), are right around the corner. Great restaurants on the water are close by as well and the best Italian food (go to Giacomo's for lobster ravioli) is a short walk away as well.
This hotel is in an excellent location for anyone visiting Boston. It is on a quiet street which is within walking distance to many attractions such as the wharfs, North End restaurants, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall and the trolley tours. The room was spacious without a lot of extra furniture and the beds were like sleeping at home. I usually have difficulty sleeping the first night or two but not at this Hilton. After a long day of sightseeing, we looked forward to going back to the hotel to relax. Employees were exceptionally friendly and very professional. A definite keeper on our next trip back!
The bed was the most comfortable bed I had ever stayed in. The room was beautiful. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful
This is a good place to stay as long as you don't have plans to travel away from downtown. The building is a little old, which leads to a slightly drafty room. Overall the place was great it is a 5-10 min walk to any place downtown, and after walking around all day it was nice to come back to a comfortable bed. There is no parking in the area at all though so don't rent a car unless you want to pay for valet.
The hotel staff was great! Very friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful. I was at the end of the hall on the 9th floor. The room had 5 windows with nice draperies. The room had high ceilings and crown molding. The bathroom was small but very nice. I would and probably will stay here next time I am in town.
I cannot find the words to express how awesome this hotel is! We (4) went to Boston on business for 5 days/4 nights and had a wonderful experience while staying here. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and accomodating. The Concierge and Front Desk personnel were so helpful as well as the Doormen, Bellhops, etc. We were able to obtain flight information, weather, entertainment venues, directions, you name it-they had it! We are looking forward to returning to THIS particular hotel for ALL our business travelers.
