First time with family in Boston, and the Lenox and its staff could not receive a stronger recommendation. Perfectly situated one block from 30-40 great places to eat on Newberry Street. Staff actually go out of their way to be polite and helpful, not just at checkin, but throughout the stay. It was amazing. Nice work out facilities, great beds, Irish Bar on site. I can not imagine ever staying anywhere else in Boston. Everything was perfect!!
The Lenox is a very elegant hotel with very friendly staff dedicated to making your stay the best it can be. The front desk personnel were extremely helpful and nice. The concierge made excellent recommendations for activities. The rooms were clean and 5 star all the way. The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get out of bed in the mornings. The beds were not too hard and not too soft, just perfect with down comforters and soft down pillows. The hotel is located close to lots of great shopping, and close to the 'T' subway, and Boston commons. We found it very easy to walk everywhere around the city. I will definitely return to Boston with my family and when I do, I want to stay at the Lenox. I have stayed at some very expensive 5 star hotels and this one is every bit as nice as the ones that cost twice as much. I highly recommend this hotel.

I live in NYC and know good hotels from bad ones or even average ones.. Great room, staff could not have been kinder, in a genuine way. The best possible city location, restaurants all around, a block from Newbury st and Prudential Center (a must see). Reasonable parking available right there. Three bars, two restaurants, what more could you ask for!
My mom and I stayed at the Lenox for a long weekend. We were amazed by this place. We used to travel all over the world with my dad's company, staying in some very high-end hotels. The Lenox, with its incredibly personalized and attentive service, stands out as one of the most memorable hotels we have ever experienced. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my mom and I had a wonderful stay. Everyone was exceedingly professional and friendly. When we would come back into the hotel, there was always someone waiting just inside the door to greet us, ready to help if we needed anything. My mom and I love to try non-touristy local restaurants. We called the concierge a few weeks before our trip and she made excellent recommendations for all of our meals. She even made all of the reservations and we found ourselves at the best tables. The hotel itself is a historic property that has been impressively updated. It feels both classic and sleek. Our room, with two comfortable queen beds, was spacious and very clean. The bathroom contained products by Aveda. The hotel is quiet. We never heard any noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway. The hotel's location is perfect, with easy access to the Copley Square train station. If you like to shop, Newbury Street is just a block away. It is also very close to the Convention Center and the Prudential building. Boston is really not that big; we walked from the Italian North End through Boston Common to the hotel in just about a half an hour. We highly recommed this hotel and definitely plan to go back.
Went for a St. Patty's Day vacation. The room was large and nice so I saw no immediate red flags. After sightseeing for a few hours we came back to our room and saw that room service had cleaned our room. The person also left us a surprise deposit in our bathroom toliet and didn't bother to flush! Ordered room service and didn't get full order (all 3 times). My friend was propositioned by a security guard to come up to our room to "Party" after he got off work (she declined). Three days after my stay I noticed red bites and scabs on my back and arms as did my friend, so I am assuming sleeping on the linens or bed mattress gave us both unidentifible rashes! Nice! Will never reccommend this hotel to anyone!! Ruined a great trip!
