Travelocity Reviews (3 Reviews) Top

I travel all over the country and stay in many hotels. I usually find a hotel in every city that I will stay at when I am in town. I tried this hotel because it was one of the more reasonably priced hotels in the city. I was planning on staying for 2 1/2 months but after two weeks, I decided there has got to be something better than this hotel. The service is repulsive!! When there was someone at the front desk, they would treat me as if I was bothering them. The cleaning staff didn't speak any english, but they were the only employees that had any manners. I think they were afraid of being fired by the miserable people who run the place. It is supposed to be a non smoking hotel, but you couldn't tell that by walking down the halls. And I should not forget that the only entrance to the building is the front door and this is where everyone stands to smoke. Hold your breath and try to run through. There is also no elevator, so unless you are travelling light, you can plan on making multiple trips to get your luggage to the upper floors. God knows no one is going to help you. Save yourself the dissappointment and stay somewhere else.

...and it was. This is an unpleasant place. Odors. Dirt: everything needs paint. Grime. Worn out carpets. Unpainted plywood nailed in under bathroom vanity for support. Noisy in-window air conditioners. Ripped bedsprings. Supposed to have breakfast. None. Unless you mean that basket of apples. The desk staff did let us cancel our reservation for the 2nd night, however. Could be ""Boston's best hotel value"" if improvements were made.

The man who checked us in first ignored us for 10 minutes and then was extremely rude to us. The tub took hours to drain, the toilet didn't flush properly, and some strange soot/ash fell from the ceiling in the bathroom. The hallway smelled of sewage. The room was more or less clean and that is the only good thing I can think of to say about this place. NOT recommended.
