A destination in itself, Hotel Commonwealth is the grand cornerstone of Kenmore Square and the gateway to Boston s cultural and historic attractions. Classic style with a contemporary edge; the emphasis is on large elegant rooms and personal service. Added to this, there are in-room spa services and delightful views over Commonwealth Avenue or Fenway Park - home of the Boston Red Sox. Dine in Eastern Standard or choose one of the best seafood restaurants in the region - Great Bay. Shopping could not be easier as you will find at the lobby level designer boutiques, a perfume bar, a wine shop, a bookshop and one of the oldest galleries in the USA - Panoptican Gallery of Photography. Hotel Commonwealth is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property.

We just love this hotel and can't say enough about it! Steps away from the subway and Fenway Park! Fantastic staff. The room was great - quiet (and it overlooked Fenway park), comfortable and relaxing. Loved the turndown service and the cookies left on our pillows. Can't imagine staying any other place.

Excellent location only feet from the Kenmore Square subway station. Our room on the Fenway Park side had no noise from the nearby turnpike or the stadium. Very enjoyable: friendly staff, efficient service, large room, clean bathroom. Museums, Bosox and restaurants easily within walking distance.

Fabulous rooms and service at the front desk and throughout hotel

 by  anonymous  on  2006-05-02

If you are going to Fenway-this is the place to stay. We stayed in a Fenway room which overlooked Fenway Park. The walk to Fenway was 5 minutes. The room was very spacious and well kept. It is definetly a small luxury hotel. The valet parking is a plus. We were very happy with every element of the hotel.

This hotel is in the perfect location.... Around the corner from Fenway. It is our go to whenever we fly up for a game! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable.... Service is five stars!
