This was our first trip to Fenway Park. We wanted to stay close so we could walk everywere we wanted to go. I did alot of searching and reading of reviews. Although, the reviews listed for this hotel were terriable, we decided to take our chanches. We were glad we did. The only problem we had was in the middle of our last night there the air quit working. We told them of the problem when we checked out in the morning and the adjusted our bill and took some off for our trouble. Next time we go to Fenway we will stay here. Also, easy to get on and off the subway. We went to the harbour on Sunday and had a great time.

So bad it's scary. And right next to Fenway Park. After a Red Sox game 100 drunks from the game troop into the hotel bar and keep you awake until they leave. Don't eat in their restaurant. I tried breakfast and couldn't finish it. And not a real picky eater.

It was better than I thought it would be. The room was clean with no odors.

This was one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever been in. The rooms smelled horrible, it was dirty, the rooms are in dire need of repair/maintenance. I am glad we only wasted the money for one night. The only quality this hotel has is it's location to Fenway during game night. But be warned, you have to pay for parking even as a guest and you better get there early if their is a game, guests are not guaranteed parking even if you have reservations! Howard Johnsons should be ashamed of themselves. Also, don't let your kids out of your site in the hotel, the smell of marijuanna wafted through the air all night.

We checked in because it was cheaper than other local hotels and very close to the MBTA station (convenient!)The room showed definite signs of wear and tear (i.e. torn wallpaper, water damaged doors, etc.). But when the mouse ran across the room, we knew it was really BAD!

If you're looking for a hotel close to Fenway, this is it. The hotel is next door on the first base side. After reading other comments, I was prepared for the worst. The hotel is a bit dated but the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Overall, we were pleased and would stay there again.
