Welcome to Three Pines Bed & Breakfast. We are located on the east side of Hancock Point, in Hancock Maine. Our 40 acre, timber framed, off-the-grid homestead is located on the shore of Sullivan Harbor, which leads to Frenchman's Bay and the open ocean. We have two guest rooms, each having a private entrance, private bath, a cozy sitting area, and spectacular views of the water. Simple cottage style decorating with handmade quilts completes the atmosphere for your perfect Maine vacation. Guests are welcome to relax and enjoy the views from the decks and screen room, or take a few steps to the rocky shorefront to take in the vista from Schoodic peninsula to Cadillac mountain. With over 800 ft. of shorefront, 3000 ft. of old railroad bed, and 40 acres of woodland, you'll never have to leave the Three Pines property to enjoy the natural beauty of the Maine coast. Eagles, seals, herons, and many varieties of water fowl are all regular visitors to this tranquil harbor. However, if you wish to explore the surrounding area, our B&B is conveniently located for guests to take advantage of many of the area activities. Biking and hiking are available in and around our property as well as at Acadia National Park and the Schoodic Peninsula. Canoeing and kayaking can be enjoyed from our shore line or at Mount Desert Island. Sightseeing abounds at Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Schoodic Point, and elsewhere. Shopping can be found in Bar Harbor and Ellsworth as well as at the many nearby artisans who produce pottery, sculpture, and art.

Three Pines is a beautifully appointed post and beam house a stone's throw from the water. Karen's breakfasts, with berries and vegetables grown in their own gardens were the stuff of wonder!

This B&B is great! Especially if you like a peaceful ocean setting where the food is good, the staff is excellent, and the scenery can't be beat. Not far from local attractions, super great place!
