Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and quiet. Newly remodeled. Food in resturant on site was excellant. Town was pleasant to walk around at the end of the day. Shopping was a short drive away.
I was quite pleased with my stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and personable without being too familiar. The room was clean when we arrived and the housekeeping staff was wonderful. The hotel itself is centrally located in town (it is attached to the Kellogg Arena), so it is easy to drive or even walk to downtown locations. Plus, there is a brand new Starbucks in the complex! Anyone who stayed there in the past and didn't have a good experience may want to give this hotel another chance. From talking to a visiting executive who was also staying there, his company purchased this hotel out of bankruptcy and is working on renovating it top to bottom. The rooms could stand to be updated, and the plans they have displayed in the lobby look lovely. I would definitely come here again the next time I am in Battle Creek.
I stayed here over the weekend for a Showstoppers Dance Competition. The hotel was connected to the arena our competition was being held in which was great. On our down time we could walk back up to our room and rest or grab a bite to eat at JW's the restaurant which was only steps from the arena. From check-in to check-out, the service was awesome. I was greeted by a bellman who valeted my car and took care of my luggage. Valet was only 8.00. Better than 45.00 in Chicago. Checked-in with the front desk who were very polite and very informative about the area on things to do. Went up to my room which was very clean and smelled really good. The front desk staff said they have new beds in the room which was a plus and were very comfortable. "I totally AGREE". The restaurant was slammed for dinner, but the service was still great and in a timely manner. Overall this was a great experience and we will be back in May for another competition.
Great location for business travelers, right downtown. When I arrived a bellman quickly helped me with my luggage and valeted my car. I went to the front desk to check-in and was greeted by smiling and friendly front desk staff. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I ate in the restaraunt for breakfast and dinner. The staff thier were very friendly, they treated me like they have known me all my life. "GREAT SERVICE". The food was good and quickly brought out. I was in a rush for breakfast, because I had a meeting in 25 minutes after being seated. I let the waitress know and she did a great job getting me my food in time. Overall I had a great experience and will be coming back.
I came here on a business trip with about 40 other people. All had the same feelings, this hotel is dirty. My room had white stains on the curtains and chairs. The walls and ceilings had stains. The shower floor felt spongy, there was mold, there was fruitloops inside my airconditioner. I left this hotel sick. DO NOT COME HERE!!!
