We stayed for one night. Good enough just to spend the night and have a shower. If ever we would be in STL again, I would no longer stay. Noisy--- can hear the vehicles in the highway; T&B--- icky! no soap, shampoo, drainage hole is filthy; room is filthy; remote on TV was missing. What is consoling is the customer service--- the old man in the counter was so kind and provide us directions just to get to hotel --- it means a lot for an out-of-towner. Despite the customer service, I would not use that as leverage just to stay in this hotel. No Hope this helps you and the econo lodge management.
The hotel was disgusting. My room had dried smeared blood on the bathroom door, one bed was unmade upon check in. There was mold in the bathroom. An old hotel should not mean filthy or in bad repair. I would never stay at an Econo Lodge again based on my experience with that particular hotel.

Went and stayed the weekend there last febuary, went on a all day excursion through st. louis and left my bill-fold zipped up in my luggage figured it would have been safe, returned to the room that evening and found my luggage open on the bed and wallet missing, checked with the so-called hotel security which was also reviewed by the police, only person to enter the room the entire time we left was motel housekeeping.. Yeah i shouldnt have left it in there, thats what i get for believing in people.
