My stay was excellent. For Baseball fans, the location is great. Also, convenient to the convention center which is about 6 blocks away. Several good eating places near by. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was located where I wanted but it comes with some down sides. The elevators were really slow and there were too few of them for the number of people in the hotel, the maid left our door open after she cleaned the room, for how long I don't know, the bathroom was small and cramped and the breakfast buffet was crowded and not as full of variety as you would expect given the cost. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful and the location, the reason I stayed to begin with, was perfect. The fitness facility was nice and had everything. So, none of the downsides would keep me from staying there in the future.

I booked this hotel not knowing what I was getting, but after finding out that I was staying at the Hilton in Downtown St. Louis, I was excited. I expected something beyond worse for that value but I was impressed. The first day my friend and I were there we really didn't spend much time in the hotel. We were out and about. When we finally settled in and spent time there we discovered to our dismay several different articles of garbage under the beds including, but not limited to: empty take away containers, plastic cups, and a disgusting assortment of nail clippings. My friend disregarded all of this but it drove me crazy, especially the next morning when I found myself standing in three inches of water while showering. I called guest service and they sent maintenance up to unclog the drain, leaving the bottom of the tub layered with a lining of silt that I ended up cleaning because the housekeeper left the cleaning supplies with me AFTER I told her that I had requested them but the woman at the front desk said that they were not allowed to give "chemicals" to hotel guest for insurance purposes. I was rather annoyed by this, but I ended up cleaning it either way. The parking for this hotel was kind of a bother. You had to park across the intersection at a parking garage and it costed 18 a day to park there, which wasn't really too bad since it is basically in the heart of St. Louis. The view from our window though, was amazing, we had a clear view of the arch and the Casino Queen, which unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to visit. Overall. my stay here was acceptable.

We booked a room here for our first "road trip" as a couple, and enjoyed almost every aspect of this wonderful hotel. Our room was nice and clean, and the bed(s) were wonderfully comfortable. We went to the pool area to use the hot tub, which was very relaxing and clean. The lobby was very nice as well, but save your wallet some shock and walk to some of the bars nearby to get drinks rather than use the hotel bar!!! The toiletries provided were nice as well. I only had three complaints about the hotel - 1.) There was no mini-fridge in the room. This was disappointing as there was no way to keep my bottled water cold.2.) There were not ice machines on every floor. We stayed on the 8th floor, and had to go to the 7th or 9th floor to get ice for the evening. I wish we had realized this earlier, as we were already in our pajamas and had to make the trek that way.3.) We were awakened a few times in the middle of the night by people (probably drunken people) yelling in the hallway outside our room. Granted, I have no idea how close they really were, but it was disturbing and difficult to fall back asleep afterwards. In general, the hotel was great for the price we paid and I have very minimal complaints. Keeping in consideration that there were weddings and conventions taking place within the hotel, I have to say it was very nice and relaxing. The staff appeared to be accommodating, even though they did not give us a room with 1 king bed like requested. One tip to those planning on staying here: park your car yourself and walk whenever possible!!!
