For such a so called 4 Star Hotel we were completely disappointed in this facility. The pool is small for the size of the hotel & not heated, oh, and watch out for the bird poop your a sitting target for them poolside. We never did get our room cleaned while we were there even after making a call to the front desk and complaining, but I was able to get fresh towels delivered to the room after requesting them. Don't plan on doing any shopping while your there unless you want to buy a tee shirt with some dumb saying on it or something with the cardinals logo on it. My daughter and I even tried the little hair salon for a facial & manicure that was also not the most pleasant experience. Won't stay there again, the only plus I found was the resturant called The Shed, the food was good and the waitress was friendly and gave us a discount for staying at the Hyatt that we did not know about.

The union station architecture gets your attention upon arrival. Parking options poor, used valet parking - - VERYexpensive> Like many high price hotels, charged extra for Internet access. Ten dollars a day to check your email is excessive. Friendly staff. Room OK, but for the price we will stay somewhere else next time.

I think the property is in a GREAT location; the mall with stores and restaurants are fantastic. A good time was had by all. The room is really comfortable, spacious and big (plus I did have a minibar). The bathroom is very thoughtfully laid out with a separate area for the toilet which is nice if you're traveling with other people!!! The closet is awesome. It had a tie and belt rack which was made to help me stay organized easier, during even a short stay. The staff though, was better (best). Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I'm coming back to have a leisure trip to STL and going to stay at this hotel for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. The staff was very friendly, the housekeeping was exceptional but the security was little scarey. We used our room key to get into the gated/locked area where the rooms were located. Several times when entering there were people requesting to be let in under our key as their hands were full from shopping or their key was in their pocket. I was afraid we could be letting anyone in including someone who did not belong there. It would seem rude to tell someone no when their hands were full from shopping at Union Station. There needs to be someone to monitor the gate rather than relying on guests to monitor the area. Otherwise everything was fine. Valet parking was great as well. I loved the bottled water they left in the car for us also!
