The hotel was very clean! The only problem was that it is very small... we were a total of four (we had 2 children with us)and it was a little to close for comfort! It is in a great location but is very simple and nothing special! I must say that it is VERY CLEAN! The parking was a joke... you park in a garage and walk out of it and then back into the hotel. I would pay more money next time and stay some where nicer! If you are there to go to the hospital and will not be in your room except to sleep and you are by yourself... I think it would work!
Lousy views, but great location if you're visiting St. Louis, Ladue or wherever. It's right next door to Barnes-Jewish Hospital if you're there visiting someone. Very, very clean hotel and expert staff at every level. Applebees in the lobby is good for dinner, but I went to Tom's across the street on Euclid where I met about two hundred of the nicest St. Louis folks. I don't like eating alone and it only takes about a minute at every meal to meet a dozen new best friends at any of the establishments along Euclid. Parking at the hotel is an extra per day and it's in a covered parking garage. I slept like a baby on the cleanest bed I've seen in quite some time. The white comforters where the first hotel comforters I didn't immediately toss onto the floor saying "gross..." management must have a lot of experience travelling...well done to the staff and to Mr. or Ms. Manager which I never needed to speak with! Lastly, plenty of hot water in the shower and ice in the ice machines. I will stay there again for all St. Louis area work and fun.
The Hotel was very nice... extremely comfortable bed, had a refrigerator and microwave, and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The Hotel was located a block and a half from the Metro (train) which made it very easy to get around St. Louis ! The Applebee's Restaurant in the lobby of hotel was a nice extra, and the St. Louis Bread Company (coffee shop) across the street was great too! There was not a swimming pool, which was greatly missed by our child. But we had a great visit and would definitely stay there again!
The hotel was very clean and inviting. The hotel staff was very very helpful. When we arrived we where running late for a show and the staff was more than willing to help us check in quick and get a taxi. The room was very clean. It was a pleasant surprise to see that the hotel uses no disposable glasses. There where actual coffee mugs and glass cups that can be washed and reused. The view is not the best in the world but I would say that the hotel was built to accomidate the many visitors to Barnes-Jewish Hospital which is right across the street. There are plenty of places to eat in the area including the Applebee's in the hotel.
This hotel was clean, updated, and extremely comfortable to stay at. The staff was very helpful with questions about the area and how to use the mass transit system. Quick walk to the light rail system. Quick walk to area restraunts and a few shops. Beautiful area of St. Louis.
Friendly staff and clean rooms. Good location in the Forest Park area with many activities and wonderful dining.
