Although the attempt to renovate the rooms was appreciated, the astounding noise from the street was incredible. The motel is on a VERY steep hill and the traffic noise of trucks and motorcycles and every vehicle trying to get up that hill was unbelievable, to add insult to injury when the rooms were renovated they failed to reinstall door seals so a lot of noise, light and dirt filled the room. If you have no choice but to stay here DEMAND a room on the NORTH side of the buildings away from the street, if they cannot accommodate this move on. Even if you get a good price, beware of the south facing rooms. When you arrive, do not pull into the entrance from the main avenue, go to the bottom of the hill and go one block north and enter from the back drive, failing to do this will bottom out your car or even your truck. No kidding on this! On the good side, the rates were acceptable for Branson and the continental breakfast was doable but if you can't eat another Belgium waffle there are plenty of places to eat close by. The new landing is just down the hill and you can find some nice places there that actually don't cater to kids and are not "maturity challenged". Enjoy your stay in Branson, just not in this place if you can avoid it.

I was in town for a bussiness conference. We booked the Best WesternLanding View for the rooms and the meeting area which was amazing. They rroms were very nice all brand new really classy (bathrooms especially) I was impressed with the rooms then we went to thier conference center. First off they are only 4 blocks from the branson Landing which is where my company is located but they meeting area they had for us was all glass and I cant imagine a better view in Branson. The whole thing overlooked the Landing and we could actually watch the FIRE and WATER show from there. I was very pleased with the staff the accomodations just everything and our rate was only 74.00 a night. I travel alot and this was pretty dang great!

BED WAS UNCOMFORTABLE, TOILET IN OUR ROOM WOULD NOT FLUSH AND WATER PRESSURE IN SHOWER WAS HORRIBLE

 by  anonymous  on  2007-12-17

We stayed at this hotel and absolutly loved it. The breakfast was very good, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I almost did not stay here after reading some of the other reviews so I called and spoke to the manager, who is conseqently the NEW manager and I was assured my stay would be an enjoyable one and boy it was. The maid would fold our towels into a swan or other animals which my wife loved! The rooms were clean and the decor was very nice. We wanted close to the landing and the other option was a little out of our price range, this hotel will exceed your expectations I am sure of it. The staff were there to help every time we needed them. I have already booked next years family reunion there and they are providing meeting space for no charge!!!!! How great is that.

The two days we stayed they were out of breakfast when we went down to eat

 by  anonymous  on  2007-07-02

The rooms were beautiful! The furniture just made the rooms unique and gorgeous. The beds, however, were very hard. I did not get a good night sleep at all! The bathroom door would not close all the way, and the bathtub had about 5 in. of water in it when you tried to take a shower. The breakfast was very skimpy too, although the waffle iron was a big hit! The strawberry juice was not that great. But we had an awesome time in Branson and hope to visit again very soon!
