Cleanest hotel we ever stayed in. Pet friendly was a nice surprise.Am going back in 2008
Great food, nice rooms, nice facilities. For Branson, it's probably a very nice place. Compared to places we've stayed in Florida/California, etc. it doesn't really compare. The rooms are nice, but it felt like a remodeled Holiday Inn. However, the ""remodel"" job was done well and it's an above average place to stay. The conceige service was sub-par. There was rarely anyone there to assist and when we asked how to get to a popular restaurant, the person behind the desk had never heard of the restaurant. Overall though, it's a nice place to stay and a relaxing getaway.
We have stayed here for 6 years now. Love everything about it but the dinner prices. Elegant is the word for the whole place. Had a massage at the new spa, loved it. Be prepared to spend the money though. First class.
We enjoyed the romance package. I would go again. In fact, we are in April. Everthing I saw...I liked.
We had planned a cruise for our 35th wedding anniversary in 2006, but my husband was struck by a car in 2005 and had had several surgeries over the monthes and was unable to travel too far. So we decided on Branson. Since that is where we went on our honeymoon. Because we had our dog with us many places would not take us. We spent one night in Branson before finding the Chateau. I felt like a princess when we got to our room. We were treated like royalty. We couldn't do too much because of my husband being in a neck brace. But it was one of the most memorable anniversaries.
We love this hotel. It is truly classy - a rare find in the Ozarks. Service is excellent, rooms are amazing. We've stayed in them all - from a standard room to a ""Presidental Suite"" (on our wedding night) and were always treated with great respect. only complaint: The library bar was closed one evening when we had planned to meet friends for drinks. We even called to confirm the bar would be open, but they closed early!
