Excellent stay. All rooms have been updated; granite countertop in bath; iron and board in room; nice indoor pool; staff very accommodating; walking distance to museums, capitol, upscale restaurants and train station. We had a terrific time. 6/08

The hotel was tucked away in a not-so-nice part of the city. We had to park in a garage across the street. There was no valet parking. The front desk staff did not go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was nice and the bed was very comfie. We had a nice meal at the restaurant and prompt room service. Although this was probably the best of the three hotels in the downtown area, next time I will pick one farther away in a nicer neighborhood.

Recently stayed here on business. Facility badly in need of renovation. Poor service in restaurant. Rooms very small with tiny bathroom. Carpet threadbare and stained in many places. Filter in bathroom exhaust system has never been changed. No soundproofing and poor seal on door makes for a loud stay. Sliding glass door on false balcony does not open and was so dirty that you couldn't see through one side. STAY AWAY.

The room walls are so thin you can hear the conversations in the room next to you. My bed shook from the russell and bustle in the next room. I was up at night and woken early the next morning. The menu selections for food is limited and there is no atmosphere. The parking costs * per day. The internet access is * per day - go to the Port City Java -2 blocks - it's free. There is no gift shop that has gifts or other toiletries. This does not live up to the Shereton name. While I was at the desk, a lady requested towels for the pool area. I just tried to go to the pool at 10 a.m. and a sign says it's closed. BAD EXPERIECE!

Be very careful if book at this hotel as a family. We were given a tiny room with a king bed for a family of 4 with no apology except that they guarantee a room not a type.
