Best Hampton Ever!!!!!
If you are coming to Raleigh for business..stay here! If you are vacationing stay here!!! If you want to just get away from home , stay here!!!...
This new (as of DEC 07) facility is by far the fanciest, cleanest and most comfortable Hampton Inn I've ever stayed in, and that's been more than a few. The front desk staff - every single one of them, from checkin at 6 PM to early morning coffee run at 5:30 AM - were amazingly polite, friendly and helpful, as were other employees I ran into around the hotel. Not often does a staff member greet you as a guest when you just pass him or her in the hallway. Same with the lady at the breakfast bar. One housekeeping supervisor, as we and two grandkids were toting our bags, dolls, books, blankies, Christmas loot, etc., to the elevator, asked what room we were leaving so she could check if we left anything (dolls, books, blankies, Christmas loot, etc.) in the room. Immaculately clean rooms and restrooms, even those in the lobby. Excellent breakfast; far more choices than the standard "hot breakfast" options, and great OJ and coffee. Minutes (count them on one hand) to a WIDE variety of restaurants and shopping. If you want a hotel where you will be extremely pleasantly surprised at the quality of the facilities and staff, this is it. Far and away the best value I've found in numerous trips to the Raleigh area. I will not look or stay anywhere else on future trips.
