The 11-story Residence Inn Uptown Charlotte is less than a mile from the Bank of America Stadium and Discovery Place and approximately 15 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This location is also seven blocks from the Charlotte Bobcats Arena and 15 miles from Lowe's Motor Speedway. Hotel amenities include the fitness equipment, Mint Street Pub (American fare), complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning, and complimentary beer, wine, and snacks on Monday through Thursday evenings. The new beds from Residence Inn have crisp linens, thicker mattresses, and piles of pillows.

The room size is great, with plenty of room to spread out. We needed a crib for our daughter and the one they had brought up originally was broken. One of the front desk associates found us another one, even though she was very busy and she was the only one on the desk. I really appreciated the extra step she went. The breakfast buffet is great, with lots of good food to choose from. The hotel had beautiful views of uptown and is close to lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.
