My family was pleasantly surprised when we drove into the resort. The homes were absolutly beautiful and there was a guarded entrance. The room was clean & I must say that my family and I were very comfortable. It was only about 5 miles from Sunset Beach and only about 25 minutes from Myrtle Beach. There were plently of things to do near the hotel. We ate at nice restaurants and did some things with the kids. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

My husband and I and our young daughter stayed at the Brunswick Plantation condo for a family weekend getaway and we were very please, we're planning on another weekend trip to Calabash and will be staying at the Brunswick again. The rooms are not fancy and the place is not luxurious, but it's away from all the noise and tourism at Myrtle Beach. Only a short drive from the resort are several different small beaches that are not crowded and over-run my millions of other people. The town of Calabash is also really nice at has several good family restaurants as well as mini gulf and other activities. This is a great place is you are looking for a nice quiet family get away and you don't want to spend a ton of money.
