THIS HAS TO BE OUR TWELVE TRIP TO VEGAS. AND WE MAKE IT A POINT TO STAY AT DIFFERENT HOTELS OR RESORTS EACH TIME. THIS RESORT IS NOT OUR TYPE OF TASTE WHEN IT COMES TO DECOR. BUT AFTER SAYING THAT, THE RESORT IS NICE ALL AROUND. THE LOBBY AREA VERY NICEY DOWN. AT TIMES I FELT LIKE BEING IN HAWAII.. GREAT FISHING RIGHT ON HOTEL PROPERTY ( LARGEMOUTH BASS 3 - 5 LBS ) JUST SWIMMING AROUND. JUMPED IN ON MY RENTED TRUCK AND WENT TO WALMART DOWN THE ROAD ( 3MILES ) AND BOUGHT A FISHING ROD AND COME BACK TO GO FISHING RIGHT ON THE RESORT. YOU MUST RENT A CAR WHILE STAYING AT THIS RESORT. YOU'RE LOOKING AT ABOUT 35 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE STRIP. EVENTHOUGH WE TRAVELLED TO THE STRIP EVERYDAY DURING OUR STAY THERE. FOOD IS NOT AN A FIRST CHOICE AT THE HOTEL. OR YOU CAN GO TO THE GREEN VALLEY RESORT TO EAT, WHICH IS ONLY ABOUT 8 MILES AWAY. THE SWIMMING POOL IS FANTASTIC FOR THE KIDS AND A SMALL BEACH AREA TO PLAY IN THE SAND. THE WATESLIDE IS NICE TOO. IF YOU BEEN TO VEGAS AS MANY TIMES AS US AND DON'T CARE TO MUCH ABOUT THE STRIP THEN THIS MIGHT BE IDEA FOR U. ROOMS ARE QUIET TO SLEEP, NO NOISE.
I must say that I was more than delighted upon my arrival to the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort. When planning this trip, I must admit I was a bit hesitant to book off the strip. However, I received the absolute best of both worlds. I was able to stay at an open air resort, with breathtaking views of the enormous desert mountains, cool crystal blue water of the lake and lush green golf courses that surround the property. There is so much beauty and wildlife right outside your door. This place has tranquill music that's piped in and around every corner. You can't help but feel relaxed and comfortable. And, when it was time to live it up a little, the quick ride (only 15 minutes) I was in the heart of the infamous Las Vegas strip. I must say that I was thrilled to experience both pleasures, but happy to return back to Loews Lake Las Vegas. This is my new home away from home!
The Looews Lake Las Vegas Resort was gorgeous... beautiful fountains, impeccable servie and an incredible view... We booked a premium lakeview room but only got a pratial view but we decided that we like it so much, we stayed...even though they were going to switch our room to our specificatios the next day. It was quiet and only 11 minutes drive from the Vegas strip, so it really felt like a serence resort to take your mind off but at night you can party in Vegas... the morning lake sounds were amazing and we felt like we were vacationing in the carribean because of how quiet it got... Lake Mead is beautiful... BUT ANTS were everywhere in the room. I did not like that very muhc. There were some on the granite bathroom couter (went into my hair elastics and make up bag) and some on the dor frame... I was not too happy about that... but would I stay there again... yes I would. It was worth it! What's a few ants comaping to the luxury we liked so much!
I was there for business meeting which was superbly handled by the staff who are all very accommodating! The pool is gorgeous and definitely suggest renting the cabana for the day!
We live in Las Vegas and wanted to have a family vacation but didn't want to go too far. The Hyatt was perfect! We stayed for a couple of days and used the pools, water slide and lake paddle boats. My husband and I had a couple's massage while the girls were in the kids ""camp"". Our alcove room was a smaller suite with a pull-out sofa which was perfect. I loved sitting by the pool, relaxing. Wonderful place.
