I have good things and bad things to say for the hilton. The staff was great. They were very willing to please. I went to Vegas to get married and while I was getting ready I needed something from one of the shops but I couldnt get down there (my hair was in curlers) and they brought it to me. I needed a new iron the one in the room was broken and it was brought to me right away. The toliet also broke while we were there but it was also fixed right away. The bed was awful! I might just be spoiled with a memory foam at home but I hardly got any sleep at all the mattress was as hard as a rock! Housekeeping was very nice. Only the hotel itself wasnt very clean. By the time I made it to the limo in my wedding dress I was already filthy. The private pools are small but nice and never busy. My biggest problem with my trip was the Flamingo. I had horrible service at the salon there on my wedding day no less and for that I will never return. If you choose to stay at the hilton do not go near the flamingo which is hard to do since you just about have to go through it to get to the strip unless you go around. In the hiltons favor it was much calmer then the hotels on the strip. The hilton doesnt have the constant night life atmosphere. We did consider buying timeshare here until the flamingo ticked me off. If you want to stay at a hilton I would pick a different one not the one connected with the flamingo.
The absolute best hotel accommodations ever. Top of the line customer service. Clean, quiet rooms (up scale). Central and close to strip. rates very reasonable. Won't stay anywhere else but here. Simply the best. Made our weekend most enjoyable. Highly recommended.
We didn't realize that this was a timeshare resort when we booked the room but they only asked us once about listening to the sales pitch. The hotel is in the rear of the Flamingo Hotel and was actually referred to everywhere as the Flamingo Hilton. The location is in the middle of the Strip and well situated. It was very quiet and casino/smokefree. The room was a studio with refrigerator/microwave/hot tub, etc.
The hotel lost our reservation and then said we checked in on May 10th and out on May 13th. It took us more than an hour to finally get a room.
