Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Paris --- it was convenient to have a hotel in the middle of the strip as there is a TON of walking in Vegas. And the French flair throughout the hotel was really fun. The only downside was the night that we planned to eat outdoors at the cafe, there was a huge windstorm and despite the waiter's best efforts, once our menu and plates flew off the table, we decided to change to another restaurant. View from our room was great - we could see the Bellaggio fountains and the Eiffel Tower at our hotel. The bakery on the first floor was the perfect spot for a quick breakfast - excellent pastries! And as my friend and I were new to gambling, the blackjack dealers were fantastically patient in helping us learn the game - they really made it fun. I would definitely return to the Paris on a future Vegas trip.
Check in/out needs work, really long lines...note: just because you put up the "cattle" barriers doesn't make you Disney efficient. The hotel appears to be under-staffed, leaving the employees overworked, and dare I say, unhappy. We have stayed here several times, but this is the first since Harrah's took control.....not an improvement. The on site restaurants.....The Cafe is now just reheating the food, not cooking it, Provencal has some of the rudest waiters this side of the Atlantic. The bakery and the crepe place were pretty good for breakfast, although some things got lost in the translation. We ate at Mon Ami Gabi the last night....daughter had the salmon.....can you say Salmonella...with a French accent? Oh, I forgot....I slipped on some liquid in front of the main entrance...right in front of the security guard, and didn't even get an "Are you okay?". What can I say....great location, beautiful setting, nice room....but, I'm thinking about the Venetian next trip.
Everything about our stay went off without a hitch. Check-in was quick and easy. We had two meals in restaurants located in the hotel and the food, wine, service, etc. was excellent. The our room and the hotel itself was very clean. The staff was friendly, competent and always ready to help. We would not hesitate staying at this hotel again.
We loved this hotel with the decor we felt like we were in france. The food was a little pricey but very good, but the line was long. The room wes very well decorated, nice marble shower, marble sink and a seperate tub.The bed was very comfortable with lots of pellows. The price wes good for this nice of a hotel. My wife and i are not gamblers but would come back to stay again. We saw the play Phantom of the opera and it was OUTSTANDING.
My husband and I went on this trip with my brother and sister-in-law to celebrate my brothers 50th birthday. It was our first trip to Vegas and their fourth. We had arrived at the hotel at noon and the woman at check-in was wonderful. We were able to check in to our rooms early and were given corner rooms opposite each other on a quiet end of the hallway. The rooms were clean and a nice size. The entire staff was friendly and outgoing. We only ate at the hotel one time since we were out exploring the area. The food at the hotel was delicious, but so was every other place we decided to eat at. The casino was clean and beautifully decorated. The table staff, when not busy, was very willing to teach you the game if you didn't know how to play. At night the tables were full, as were the other casinos we tried. I will not complain about the casino not paying out because we did not win big at any casino. Check out was a breeze at the end of our trip with no problems. Lady luck may not have been on our side in gambling, but we had a great time and would most definitely go back.
I stayed at Paris 4-5 yrs. ago on business and it clearly was great! It was beautifully decorated and maintained. Service was outstanding and food excellent. I am sorry to say that it no longer is deserving of a 4 diamond rating. The room looked old and worn. The bed has a valley in the middle and you can't sleep on the end. The cafe service was very poor and the food average and overpriced. The cole slaw that came with my sandwich smelled old. The server said she didn't understand it. "After all they make it every 3 days." Are you kidding me? The dinner buffet was very good with a huge selection of french foods. The slots are tight and the blackjack rules really give a huge edge to the house. Our food service tray was put out in the hallway in the afternoon and was still there the next night after we returned from seeing a show. Bottom line is the Paris Las Vegas has gone downhill over the past few years and is in need of room upgrades, better service, and more value for your buck.

Very pleasant hotel
Paris hotel offers nice rooms, reasonable price, and a reasonable location towards the South end of the strip. Restaurant options were not quite up to par with the other big resorts.
