The great atmosphere of this hotel is overwhelmed by the construction starting at 5 AM right outside your room. This is no renovation, it is MAJOR CONSTRUCTION covering most areas of the hotel, both on the mountain and pool sides of the hotel. This is not the kind of wake up you will enjoy! The hotel will not advise you of any of this. When we spoke to the manager about disclosing this to guests, it seemed to us like his sole interest was getting us away from his front desk as quickly as possible.

OK I thought this web site told you what to expect at a hotel. Major road and hotel construction. I am currently staying at the hotel, but will cancel my reservations for next week. It is 5 AM and they are already working on the expansion, pounding, jack hammers. The roads around the hotel, with construction makes it very difficult getting to, you have to go past the hotel, around the block and back to the parkng deck. i would stay again, because I have enjoyed this hotel, but after construction.

Have stayed here many times. Although last time was 3 years ago...this place kinda sucks for the money you pay now. And even though everybody talks about the pool party Rehab on Sunday, it's not that great. Way too many people. You're lucky if you have enough room to get a toe in the pool! Felt like they nickel and dime you for everything here. If I go to Vegas again I will definately stay somewhere else.

Long story short, at 3:00am in the morning I was woken up by the jack hammering and bulldozers and dump trucks beeping, resulting in not one wink of sleep after 3:00am. 3:00am? Are you kidding? So they moved me to the other side of the hotel the next night. Just as I got back to my room at 8:30pm (business travel) a Live Band started up that was so loud I couldn't even hear my TV on its loudest volume. This lasted until MIDNIGHT. Note to self: DON'T STAY AT THE HARK ROCK ON BUSINESS TRAVEL. The management was all incredibly rude. I will NEVER stay there again and I will also tell everyone I know not to stay there as well.

We got a last minute deal here and still feel ripped off. They're doing construction, which begins about 5:30 AM not 7 AM. No big deal, other than they tell you 7 AM when they should be honest about it. Service at Pink Taco and the diner are terrible. At Pink Taco we were charged 3 for Fiji water we didn't order (we asked for regular water) or drink and they never brought out. Staff initially refused to take off bill. At the diner, ordered some onion rings as appetizer. Watched as no less than 7 times another waiter/waitress walked up and looked at order, saw it wasn't theirs and left it (it sat there for 10 minutes.) Meanwhile, our waitress sat on other side of restaurant and talked to other employees. Overall, food was average in taste, overpriced for portions and taste. Room was very disappointing. No water pressure in shower. The don't even have the hot/cold water faucet handles in sink labeled right. Room never really cooled down until late at night. TV remote didn't work and they said they would bring new one, never did. They nickel and dime you to death for everything, including a nebulous 7.00 "resort fee." However, they wanted extra for more than 1 towel at the pool. Housekeeping was nondescript, but compared to rest of the place, stellar. Odor of smoke seemed especially pungent, even for Las Vegas. Wait staff at tables was hit and miss. All in all, it became evident it's all about image at this property. Stay at a different hotel and cab over and party at this place. Or better yet, don't even bother going there. There are plenty of other places and things to do in Las Vegas.

Good hotel, comfortable bed, HDTV in the room was great. Wish I had time to try the pool, it looked great. Disappointed by the fees that Hard Rock stuck me with. 12.99 per day for internet access is a rip-off when so many hotels do it for free. Watch out for the 7.63 per day "Resort Fee" they charge that is not part of the travel website rate.
