Bill's is my new favorite place to stay in Las Vegas! The location can't be beat... very central to everything I'd want to visit. Small, classic decor, friendly staff, convenient and reasonably priced dining, flat screen tv... all at a great price!
I don't have to stay in the nicest room in town - as long as I can sleep and shower without incident, I like to be out rather than in. So Bill's seemed like a great option (location, price, good reviews). Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. Here are a few highlights - each on their own is not a big deal, but together paint a picture of failure: TV remote should always work - does anyone check them? They make a big deal about the new TVs, so you would think that the remote working would be important. I left a note for housekeeping that said "REMOTE DOESN'T WORK" with an arrow pointing to the remote - and it still was not fixed. No charge here for the eyeball that they give you when they come to your room, play with the remote, and then realize that it really doesn't work. The tub should drain during the shower. I played a game to see if I could finish my shower before the water rose over my ankles. I lost every time. The exfoliating extra low shower head that blasts off the skin from your "lower stomach area" is also provided at no extra charge. The carpet was a brownish-red color, perfectly helpful in hiding raisins and craisins all over the floor that their vacuums couldn't pick up - those are fun to step on in bare feet. No pen in room, probably so that you can not complete the guest survey or use the stationery that they provide. The phone receiver should not sound like loose ball bearings are rattling around while you make a call to the desk to complain about the other stuff. Limited to 300 words here, so have to leave off other stuff.
First time in Vegas in over twenty years and Bill's made it a very pleasant trip. We found the hotel very clean and in a perfect location. Great value and we both enjoyed our stay. Don't pass up the Prime Rib in their resturant and make sure you see Big Elvis's show. I'm booking our vacation for next year as soon as the dates are available.
this was my first time purchasing hotel and tickets online. I must say i was impressed how easy it was. As for the hotel check-in was a quick and friendly. My room was clean and i loved the plasma wall tv. view was good could see the mountains. food delicious. security at the elevator entrants made me feel safe. hotel located on the heart of the strip awesome. like arnold says l'll be back.
hotel was nice only 4 stories ......room was nice ......very clean. Hotel is on the strip close to everything .Rooms are very accessable
I stayed at Bill's because of the location, price, and the great reviews it received. I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. The rooms were nice, clean, and the beds were super comfortable. I've stayed in many rooms in my life that cost much more but were not as nice. Don't get me wrong, the rooms were nothing fancy, but were definitely worth the money. You just can't beat the location...right in the middle of the strip! The staff was very friendly and accommodating; it took me less than 4 minutes to check in! At night, there was security in the parking garage and at the entrance to the room elevators and they checked to make sure you had a room key.We didn't eat at any of the restaurants so I cannot comment.I found that the casino was a little smokey but if you're not a smoker, they are ALL smokey! My room was overlooking Flamingo Ave and the Strip...my only complaint is that I'm a light sleeper so the traffic noise in the morning woke me up several times....either keep the fan on or ask for a room on the Flamingo side. All in all, if you want to visit Vegas and stay on the strip, not spend an arm and a leg on your room (you really don't spend that much time in it anyway!) and stay in a decent place, Bill's should be at the top of your list. This next part has nothing to do with the hotel, but when visiting Vegas you should rent a car and be sure to visit Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon...both are nice diversions from the hustle surrounding Vegas!
