Still great .... super location , nice clean rooms , quiet and big breakfast spread plus a nice loungy / computer area on the 3rd floor... THX
Myself and my family have stayed at this property MANY times over the years. I would have to say that I would have given it a 5 star before, but I am...
Located diagonally across from Bryant Park and centrally located near everything in NYC. Very tall building 20 plus floors and from most rooms you can see...
This was a great value for Manhattan. It was within walking distance of Times Square, Central Park, and many other popular New York hot spots. The staff was very friendly & helpful. When we arrived, there was only 1 operation elevator & the staff went out of their way to make sure people didn't have to wait too long for the elevator. The complimentary buffet breakfast was excellent - great if you have a family! The rooms were quite large (with a full kitchen) and the beds were extra comfortable. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.
My wife and I spent 5 days there to celebrate our anniversary?our first visit to ?the big apple?. The rooms were a little small, but were very clean and well furnished. The staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the hot complimentary breakfast, but be warned, they get very busy from about 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Be there before 8:30 and you are fine. The location was excellent for us, within walking distance of Bryant Park, the Rockefeller Center, many Broadway Theaters, ABC and NBC studios?even Central Park if you don?t mind a couple mile walk. We totally enjoyed our stay?will stay there again if we return.
We stayed here, of all times, through New Year's Eve, and it was a very wise choice! The room had a full kitchenette with microwave, full size refrigerator, toaster, dishes, etc. It was really convenient to be able to go to the corner store and buy midnight snacks or breakfast for the next day.The front desk staff was very matter of fact. They weren't overly friendly (it is NYC, lots of people, not everyone will be gushy!). There wasn't a bellman that we saw -- which we liked because we can wheel our own suitcases, not a big deal. There typically was a security guard near the door and you have to use your room key to get to the upper floors. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!
I have stayed in quite a few NYC hotels. The room was magnificent! The breakfast and gathering area was beautiful and the staff was so friendly and accomodating!
Our stay at Residence Inn was actually better than expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even the maintenance staff always said hello and had a smile. The breakfast was good and they even provided a light supper which our family took advantage of. We would definanty return. P.S. Our City View rooms on the 27 floor had an outstanding view.
The hotel was very clean and had all the conveniences. Bed and bedding was great. Close to Times Square and our room had a spectacular view of the Empire State Bldg. Caution: If you have a vehicle, parking cost almost 25% of of nightly stay.
Great room, great service
The location was very good. Directily in between Times Square and Macy's. The room was a great size. Nice that it had a bar for eating or us...
