After this trip to NYC, I've stayed in all three CQ's in the city. I like them because 1) inexpensive or at least reasonably priced, 2) clean and tidy, and...
I stayed at this hotel for the weekend last year in May. Overall, it was clean and well kept, but the service was minimal. When checking in the staff...
After staying at the Club Quarters in the Financial District a few years ago I was very skeptical--it was a horrible hotel; seriously, the electrical...
This hotel was perfect! Perfect location! Perfect breakfast! Perfectly spotless room!!! Perfect beds! Perfectly secure! I loved every part of this hotel. The staff was wonderful. I will def stay here again.
The Club Quarters Rockefeller Center hotel was everything you can ask for in a trip to NYC. It is located as its name states right in Rockefeller Center. Radio City Music Hall is right across the street, and the today show is a minute away. It is also a very short walk to Times Square and there are many convenient restaurant locations to choose from. Besides location, the hotel in itself offered an excellent stay! The staff was willing to help out the minute we walked through the front door and we were checked in in just a matter of minutes. The room service was fast and efficient and everything we asked for we had in a very short time. The staff was friendly and helpful every morning when we had questions about the city or directions for the plans we had made for that day. The hotel is very clean! Small, but clean and very up to date. Everything is very modern and it provides a comfortable place to rest. The beds are extremely comfortable as well as the air conditioning which you control yourself and it is central air throughout the room. The bathroom is small but modern like the rest of the room, and like I mentioned before, it is very clean. The room does not have an ironing board or iron, but when you call for one you have it in minutes and it stas in your room until checkout. Upon checkout, if your flight does not leave until later, the hotel stores your luggage for you until you are ready to leave. So you can do more that day and still check out on time. Overall, it's an excellent stay and sure to provide just the hotel you're looking for in New York City! Enjoy!
My wife and I went to NYC for Memorial Day weekend. We stayed at Club Quarters based on the reviews on Travel online . The best thing about CQs was the location. It is right by 5th Ave shopping, Radio City Music Hall & Top of the Rock are across the street, Times Square & Broadway are 2 blocks away and Central Park is within walking distance too. The room was small but that is the norm in NYC. What we really care about when we are trying to sightsee is; we want a comfortable bed and we want the room to be quiet. Both of these criteria were met with great satisfaction. We absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to friends & family. It isn't a swanky hotel but for the price it is a great value in NYC.
This is the best hotel value I've found in Manhattan. The rooms are very small but clean and stylish. The location is awesome - facing Rockefeller Center. The breakfast buffet on the restaurant/lounge level is great - lots of choices (hot foods like oatmeal, eggs, etc., plus fruit, cereal, yogurt and such) and not expensive. The shower had excellent water pressure. One issue I would flag is that there's no easy way to get/call a taxi from the hotel. The staff won't hail one for you and taxis don't congregate out front (the hotel is rather subtle, its entrance blending with the banks next door). They do have a car service that is a good value to the airport, but ridiculously expensive for just getting around town, so expect to hail a cab yourself or walk or take the subway. Also, the rooms are designed for single business travellers, so not only are they small, they mostly have one queen/double bed, so don't try to fit lots of people in one room. Overall, a great value and a pleasure to stay at.
I'm from NY and usually shy away from Rock Center around Christmas. We were planning a family vacation and found a great deal at Club Quarters, Rock Center and decided to stay there. The toom was great, the restaurant was great, and the location - unbelievable. While all of the tourists were waiting in line to walk around the rink, we could either go up to the restaurant and have our own private viewing of the tree, or walk across the street - literally. It was so convenient and really an amazing place to be at Christmas time. Planning on making it an annual pilgramage.
Took my son for a long weekend -- location was outstanding! Very clean, prompt and friendly service. Would stay here again and have already recommended to others! Hop, skip, and a jump from Rockefeller Center.
