We are frequent travelers for both business and leisure, and decided to try the Mandarin for my wife's birthday./July 4th in NYC. Although a little pricier than our usual fare, we decided to splurge on a Park-view room and it was well worth it. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. At this level you expect exceptional service and attention to all the fine details, and we were not in the least disappointed. The complete experience was fabulous, and we will return when ready to indulge again.
This is the perfect NYC hotel. Location, service, rooms, views, shopping.... everything is perfect. We have stayed at other hotels in the city, some much less expenseive, some much more expensive. We will never stay anywhere other than the Mandarin again. The service is what sets this property apart from other similar hotels. Spend the extra money and stay at this hotel... It is worth it.
