The location was terrific & the hotel staff was very accomodating, even providing wine glasses for our evening cocktail hour....Having a fridge, microwave, & in-room safe was a great benefit....

My husband and I had never been to NY and we came for a vacation. Our room was located on the 16th floor and we had a king size bed. The hotel was in a great location to walk to everything. We walked everywhere even to the Broadway play that we attended. Try Sam's Bar and have the french toast - wonderful. Also go to Roxi and have a slice of cheesecake. I have no regrets. It was worth the money and we loved the hotel locations. Some reviews said it was small but it was great for us. WE LOVED IT! TIPS- try one of the hop-on hop-off bus tours they will save you a lot of hassels and you get to see the city. We used City Sights, but there are several to chose from. Bring some good walking shoes and just enjoy. Everything around the Hotel area was safe and we stayed out to the morning hours and never had any problems. There is a great Mexican eatery next to the hotel try it for the drinks.

Our stay was SUPERB! The check in was flawless, the service was SUPERIOR and VERY CLEAN considering the condition New York was in, LOL! The location was perfect for shopping and all WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE! ALL The STAFF WERE PROFESSSIONALS and knew about every question we had to find locations we wanted to see and gave great directions! The dining are was spottless but very expesive but everthing in New York was expensive. The resturant row was two blocks fromt the front door, pubs were everywhere with in 2-4 blocks. Be aware of what you order in restaurants. We went to an italian restaurant and ordered a pizza around 20 dollars and asked the waiter waht wine he recommended, most people had bottles on their tables, so we went with the one he suggested and when we got the dollar bill we were shocked to find out the bottle of wine was dollars alone! ASK PRICES before you say yes! Within a 2 mile radius there was over 15 restaurants and all served alcohol! Central park within 10 blocks, ground zero cab ride (cab) was about dollars! THANK YOU BELVEDERE STAFF, WE WILL BE BACK TO STAY WITH YOU ALL! BAROS FAMILY, NEW MEXICO

My wife and I had not been to NYC before and we choose to the Belvedere Hotel based on the many good positive reviews we read on Travel website. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the location of this hotel (Midtown/Treater/Times Square area). All modes of local transportation are available withing a short walk from the hotel and that made it very easy to get around. The area is safe, lots of people around and we would certainly go back to this hotel on our next trip to NYC. All of our interactions with the hotel staff were great. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a vacation trip to NYC.

Location great, just off Times Square and Broadway, short walk to Central Park. Staff excellent, rooms nice, though beds hard and TV small (but how can you sit and watch TV in NYC?) Travel agent was balky at confirming our reservations; it took four tries to finally get them to fax the reservation to the hotel, but the staff was understanding and most helpful. No restaurant onsite, but dinner at Orso nearby was fabulous and there was a great local cafe around the corner for a hearty breakfast or lunch.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The location is great! Everything was pretty much in walking distance. The only draw back from this hotel is the bathroom. It's really tiny! But overall, for the price and location, I'd stay again.
