Room was sold to us as refurbished but it was in state of disrepair. There was mold in the bathroom and broken tiles. The safe didn?t work. The door to the hall stuck and the bathroom door wouldn?t close. The edge had splinters. The closet door closed with a magnet and stuck constantly. When we arrived there was no hot water and the key cards didn?t work. The next and when we returned at 4:30 PM the room had not been made up. The next 2 mornings we were awakened at 6 and 7 AM by wrong automated wake-up calls. The phone system seemed to be malfunctioning: if we got a call, there were 2 short beeps and the call automatically rolled over into voice messaging, and we lost the calls. The hotel has 2 restaurants. In both, there were flying insects around our table. The food in ?The Pub? an insult, for example, atough steak with no steak knives and we had to request rolls. There were unpleasant cooking odors which permeated the halls and lobby. Not a good vacation.
