I have stayed at the Homewood Suites three times, and would not stay anywhere else while in Albany. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the rooms...
I stayed in this hotel during the week for four months when I was traveling for business back in early 2007. The hotel did all the little things right....

I almost didn't want to rate this place and keep it as my secret...but I believe in good service and that's all I want from a business, at minimum, what I pay for. I rated this hotel as excellent in all categories because the room was very clean, the halls were clean, it's convienient to get to. They offer hot breakfast and dinner, including drinks which is unusual for a hotel in it's price range. Responsive guess services, FREE internet and a full kitchenet to name a few. Great spot for a traveling business man. Of course, reviewers will probably think this was written by someone at the hotel...and I hope so, when business get successful they tend to charge more and give less...so I guess you'll just have to find out for self if I wrote this with my Texas Hold'em poker face on. :)
This brand new hotel was, as expected, sparkling clean. The rooms were very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was unexpectedly substantial as well as very good. Our one-night stay couldn't have been better.
New hotel (4/06). Clean. A little overpriced. Close to Albany airport but didn't hear planes.
