Certainly has a number of benefits for those at the center proper, but for someone who wasn't planning on "hanging" on the Medical Campus it was a little awkward. Not the best part of town and I certainly wouldn't call the area Downtown. If you are a smoker, they do not allow smoking on the grounds, so either book a smoking room, or go without. Was nice enough, but didn't have the pop that most doubletree hotels have. Room was far from "dirty" but there was hair of all sorts in the bathroom and gunk in the shower.
