Our stay was wonderful at this hotel. The staff was fabulous from the check in (Nick) to the breakfast. The pool was open late, till 1:00am, which was a bonus after being at Cedar Point all day. The room was surprising nice for the money. The only down side to the trip was upon check out the hotel rate was cheaper than what I booked on line by 30.00. Check directly with the hotel before making your reservations on line.
We've stayed in several hotels in Sandusky and this was by far one of the best. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had recently been remodeled and looked very nice. Would stay here again and recommend it to others!
I booked the King/ Jacuzzi suite here and I was so happy I did. My fiancee and I needed to get away for a day and this was exactly what we needed. The hotel room was spotless and the staff were very helpful. The only problem that we ran into was that there were no large towels in the room. We called the front desk and they were there within 5 minutes (still warm from the dryer). It is a quick drive to cedar point, goofy golf, the mall, and target. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
The staff of the hotel was very nice. The room was nice but it had been changed from a smoking room to a non-smoking room and the odor of smoke was still in the room. The bathroom was the pits. There was mold on the wall near the bath tub and shower. There was mold on the ceiling of the shower. I am not the type to complain about the quality of the room but it was my first experience in a La Quinta and it will be my last. There are plenty of hotels in the area and I would suggest you go to them. Don't stay in room 121.
The staff were great! This hotel has a great breakfast. Clean rooms, looks like new carpet throughout.
We stayed here while going to Cedar Point. First room we received the beds were made but had not been changed, carpet was wet and sticky, bathroom was dirty. We told management and they let us view 2 other rooms and pick the best. We picked the best but its shower drain did not work. After returning late in the day we found our room door was ajar from the maid being there earlier and no towels!
