The location is very nice-the river front is nearby. The Hotel Fifty is not as magnificent as the price would lead you to expect. The parking is very difficult. Our room was small, old and had no view.
You're paying for the location and clean, basic room with this hotel. Nothing flashy or special but a great central location to navigate through downtown Portland (with parking).
Never mention the problem with the broken air cond. until we got there. They adjust some people to * per night. They never accept responsibility for this failure. They told us to claim w/Online travel website, not with them. Very bad experience with the hot weather the only way to solve the situation were two small fans facing to the beds. Very dissappinting. Thank you.
The lack of parking and only 1 handicapped spot that the hotel management allows and encourages non-handicapped folks to use. Also, the MAX train runs right by the hotel and the construction to demolish an old parking lot next door was a real pain.
This hotel got great reviews, but needs updating. A/C didn't work, but windows open was really noisy. Shabby rooms, very small, no bath fan. Not worth price.
great location, just off the Columbia river and right by a park. Noisy due to location but well worth it if you want to walk around down town. Great restrants within walking distant as well as shopping!!!
Hmmmm?
No parking. Tvs were big but poor picture. Not worth the money
