This Springhill Suites is about what you might expect from the brand. This one is fairly new, but besides that, it is unremarkable. I paid $139 rate, but...

I stayed here recently on a gal pal trip and this hotel was ideal! It is located about one mile from IKEA and a nice shopping center which is right next to the MAXX for easy access downtown. The hotel is clean, staff friendly, our room was super cute and BIG with two queen beds, a sitting room and little kitchen. Every morning breakfast was served downstairs: bagels, fruit, eggs & sausage and waffles--really tasty. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to be near the airport (free shuttle) and it is so affordable. I will definitely stay there again.

A great Marriott property convenient to/from the airport, as well as the freeways. Staff was friendly and professional throughout stay. Restaurants and Fast Food establishments are close by.The only negatives, I can say about this property, is that the parking lot can get full at times and you may have to park in the adjoining Holiday Inn Express lot next door. If you are utilizing the free airport shuttle, then parking should not be a problem. Lastly, single elevator near lobby can be slow at times, not to sure, if an alternative elevator was available.I would most likely stay here again, if visiting the Portland area again.

This property is a treat, and at a bargain price! Very nice rooms, clean, very new. Only a couple of comments/complaints: No utensils or dishes in the kitchen units, but did find paper and plastic in the breakfast area that was useful. Guide in room said certain services would be provided by front desk if needed: printing and cash for laundry, but employees either didn't know about it or policy had changed. Minor inconvenience, but impacted my experience nonetheless.

Well-designed, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, PC with internet access for guests. Close to airport. Would stay there again.
