A Mixed Bag
My room was 306, directly across from the banquet storage area, so I heard that door banging shut all day and all night as they put away tables...
Actually we stayed at this hotel for a total of three nights. We had spent the first two nights for business and returned two days later with family on our trip back from NC. Marriott has a rather predictable standard for rooms and that usually doesn't disappoint. Usually the rooms are clean but in this case we found used tissues and gum wraps in a draw in the night stand. The front staff was good, friendly and accomodating. The dining room staff was good overall but not everybody would get a star for cutomer relations. Dining room food could be better especially for medium priced items. Indoor parking was excellant. That was one major reason for us to return to this particular hotel. Otherwise we would have chosen something closer to downtown.
Walk out of the concourse on a walkway directly into the hotel. Parking also has walkway directly into the hotel. The room was exceptional. The fitness center was exceptional for a hotel. The hotel is about 12 minutes from downtown or Penn.
I had a very early morning flight, and it was very nice to get my boarding pass and check my luggage, and then go back and relax a little. Very nice rooms and the bed was very comfortable.
The food and drinks in the restuarant was delicious. The beds were wonderful. Not too far from downtown Philly.
I booked a room for 3 adults in Feb. The hotel was full but we called ahead to let them know we'd be arriving late. Our room had only 1 bed. I really feel if they were doing there job they would have reserved a room for 3 adults with no less than 2 beds to begin with especially since we reserved 2 months in advance and called ahead. Other than that and the lady who checked us in and didn't say anything nor offer a roll-away bed to be brought in, the staff was very pleasant, hotel was clean, & the beds were comfortable including the roll away we had to request.
Very nice hotel! Convenient walkway to Terminal B, 20-minute trip to downtown by SEPTA regional rail, every 30 minutes. Only drawback is the last train leaves Philly at 11:30pm!
