Microtel, Philadelpia Airport
The room was spacious and cleanThe hallways were wore and carpet is in bad shape. My reservation was accurate upon arrivial.Overall a good stay....
Our air conditioner was broken and made a horrible screeching noise which they finally fixed after 24 hours and multiple complaints. The last night we stayed there another couple opened the door to our room at midnight with a key the front desk had given them. The front desk thought we had checked out and these people were checking into our room. I had to get up at midnight go to the front desk and talk to a gentleman who english was not all that good and try to tell him we had not checked out. In the morning we couldn't get a copy of our bill because the system had us as checked out. It's now three days later and I still don't have a copy of the bill. Do yourself a favor and try the Hampton Inn across the parking lot from this mismanaged mess of a hotel.
After traveling 12 hours I arrived @3am, went straight to bed. Placed a "do not disturb sign on the door, and was rudely awaken by a pounding on the door. Another patron had thought she left some items in the room. She told me she was appalled they put another person in this room, as she had left it because there were ticks or bugs in the bed. After she left, I turned on all the lights and pulled down all the bedding and shook out the pillows, and there they were! They were bed bugs! I immediately got dressed, closed up my luggage and left the room as fast as I could! I was totally disgusted that I had slept in that bed not knowing! And even more disgusted that the Hotel would put me in that room knowng there was a problem! I will never stay in a Microtel again and neither should you!
We stayed here in Oct. 07. Hotel had been recently renovated and was nice. Airport shuttle was very good. Local train station was across the street and very easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay.
Great price. Clean, cozy, comfortable and close to the airport. Good shuttle service and friendly staff.
needed a room close to airport and hockey arena. great price, good people, easy access
Very limited breakfast items and it closes too early - at 9:30 am. When you're on vacation, you do not want to get up early just to catch breakfast.
