Just A Night
Hotel was VERY clean, And service was excellent, but the beds were horrible. For the price, $74.00, I should have slept on the macadam outside!...
We were just passing through on our way home, and stayed here. I was very happy with the cleanliness and size and condition of the room. Since we were only staying a few hours overnight, those were the only things we needed, along with a feeling of safety. We don't like spending over * just to sleep, but have trouble finding a place that feels safe and is clean for that price in this part of the country. Microtel is great in both of those categories. The breakfast was what we expected, and the people taking care of it were very friendly, but the front desk wasn't. They weren't rude, but definitely weren't friendly, either. Neither was the woman I spoke to on the phone when calling the attached restaurant. But, overall, I was very happy and would definitley stay here again, and would try other Microtels. My only recommendation would be the availabity of a coffee pot &/or hot water, either in the room or the lobby, if you'd like a hot drink in the evening, since the restaurant, I was told, does not have hot tea.
