The Hotel Providence offers an ideal location in the heart of downtown's Arts and Entertainment District. From Providence's vibrant theatres and shopping, to its world-class educational institutions and bustling convention center, The Hotel Providence puts all the excitement of the city within short walking distance. Lovingly restored to preserve its turn of the century New England flavor, The Hotel Providence is set within one of the most architecturally significant city neighborhoods of Rhode Island, the entire area designated on the National Register of Historic Places. Brown University, Johnson and Wales and the Rhode Island School of Design are the esteemed learning centers whose campuses are each close to the hotel. Fine dining is available at Aspire restaurant. The menu offers an inspired selection of appitizers, steaks, seafood and artisinal pastas with Portuguese, Italian and New England influenced dishes, perfectly complemented with a global wine list, featuring more than 100 fine lables including many by the glass. Our luxurious bedrooms feature furnishings that include queen or king sized beds, armoires of fine tiger maple woods, richly upholstered bed benches and oversized desks with ergonomic chairs. Pillow top beds with fluffy comforters, down blankets and fine linens combined with sumptuous fabrics create an atmosphere sophisticated yet relaxed. The distinctive character and elegance offer a return to the hotel's original turn of the century beauty and ambience. Complimenting the allure of our bedroom, our bathrooms extend the feeling of a luxurious private residence with pedestal sinks and gold framed beveled mirrors, rain head showers and marble floors. Approximately 340 sq. ft. Valet parking is available at 25 per night.

A totally remodelled boutique hotel in downtown Providence- Very opulent, over-the-top even. Comfortable, good service.

Beautiful Rooms, beautiful bedding, but rooms are small. Dining was delicious but pricey, portions were small, but tasty. 7th floor had a nice view.

The Hotel Providence is a beautiful hotel with an excellent staff. The room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. It has an excellent location, convenient for everything. The only drawback was the street noise on Friday night when the revellers where out. We really enjoyed our stay here.
