We booked this at the last minute, during high season. Rate wasn't bad under circumstances. The Inn exceeded our expectations. Room had great view overlooking golf course; excellent beds; large room; bath was huge and elegant; housekeeping service twice a day. Staff very friendly & polite; many European students doing internships on staff. Small frig in room; morning coffee service on each floor. Not ocean-front, but beach club a short drive or (free) trolley ride away. Large pool next to hotel. Hotel was very quiet at night. Harbourtown a short walk away. Positive experience, from first phone call to inquire about reservations to check-out. Lived up to 4-star rating. One of nicest hotels I have ever used, and will definitely return.

We booked this hotel at the last minute, and were pleased to discover it exceeded our expectations. Although the building isn''t new, it is very well kept. The staff is excellent and friendly; housekeeping service twice a day. Rate was quite reasonable for Hilton Head at high season; we had a nice balcony that overlooked golf course. Free coffee service on each floor in morning; free bicycles; excellent beds; huge bathroom; walking distance to Harbourtown. Not directly on beach, but courtesy shuttle to beach club; large pool very close. Small frig in each room; casual cafe in pool area. Many staff were European students; golf course supposed to be modeled on St. Andrew's in Scotland. Hotel had the feel of a plush lodge. Definitely deserved the 4 stars in rating; would absolutely return. Usually stay at Palmetto Dunes, but we were very satisfied with Sea Pines.
