The Sands Village is comprised of privately owned condos one block from the beach and directly across the street from Coligny Plaza. This is the best location on the island if you want to do stuff. Since each villa is independently owned, no 2 or the same. A2H is my favorite (have stayed here every year since 2003) because the owners are always updating and improving. This year there was a large flat screen TV added in the living room. Being across from Coligny provides plenty of place to eat and great entertainment by just walking out the door. When the beach gets too hot, we come back to the on-site pool (never crowded) and sit in the shade. From what I observed the pool was cleaned every morning and in perfect condition. Sea Pines circle is only a mile away, the perfect distance to bike ride to Marley's for homeade ice cream in the evening. If you want an affordable, family vacation, with plenty of stuff for every member of your family to do, this is your place!
