The Hermitage delivered! I wanted an oasis for an anniversary trip. I found it! The staff was truly amazing. The restaurant was wonderful and the hotel it self is goergous. We sat by the fire for an hour and had a cup of expresso. The only thing that I noticed was the room was a tinge small. Gorgeous, but small (it's an old hotel- to be expected). This exited my mind when I stepped into the spa like bathroom. I didn't want to leave!

Our visit to Nashville was wonderful. The hotel is simply breathtaking and everyone is so helpful from the front desk staff, bell staff. Our room was wonderful from the view of the state capital to the marble bathrooms and luxury robes. As we love to walk we were able to go to Broadway and 2nd where there are many things to do and see. We especially enjoyed the jazz/blues festival held by the riverfront. Simply stated this hotel should hold a rating of 10 plus stars if one were given.

Lovely old style charm (don't miss the beautiful lobby!) with modern conveniences (even a silent fan so the bathroom mirror never gets fogged). Very accomodating employees, good location, not too expensive.

My husband and I spent a romantic weekend in Nashville while staying at the Hermitage. We have travelled extensively and the Hermitage was absolutely the nicest hotel we've stayed in. The conceirge service was incredible, the bathrooms superb, everything was perfect!

 by  anonymous  on  2005-02-02

Just as described and simply stunning, beautiful. The lobby is a golden confection. Staff was very polite and quick in assistance. Though the little gift shop is overpriced. One of the most comfortable beds we've ever stayed in and the room was plush and gorgeous. Would stay again!
